Welcome to North Carolina Association for Healthcare Quality
The North Carolina Association for Healthcare Quality was founded in 1979 to provide an educational and professional organization, develop and provide continuing education, and provide a means whereby individuals working in quality assessment/improvement activities could associate to promote the sharing of knowledge.
Healthcare, and healthcare terminology, has changed since 1979, and it will continue to change. The purpose of our founders, however, continues to be as valid today as it was in 1979.
As we move into the future, challenges face all of us, in all healthcare settings.
We invite you to Join NCAHQ, as we continue providing the education and resources needed to move Healthcare Quality forward in North Carolina.
Through the efforts of the North Carolina Association for Healthcare Quality, the Governor of North Carolina has proclaimed the third week in October as "Healthcare Quality Week" to urge all citizens to acknowledge all professionals who contribute to the improvement of healthcare in our state.
