DESCRIPTION: HealthLocator aims to become the definitive, patient-centered resource for hospital performance — advancing transparency, trust, and clinical quality across the U.S. health care system. In essence, HealthLocator is a public service initiative rooted in peer-reviewed methods and designed to help patients find high-quality care while promoting accountability and improvement in health care delivery.

FREE event for members of AzAHQ, FAHQ, MAHQ, NEAHQ, OAHQ, NCAHQ, OrAHQ, TGCAHQ, and UAHQ by selecting your association's ticket type.

An Associate Professor of Health Services Research and the Robert D. and Patricia E. Kern Scientific Director of Mayo Clinic’s Science of Quality Measurement program, Dr Pollock has led the Science of Quality Measurement team in the development of the HealthLocator tool to help patients across the US find top-quality hospital care near them.
